The Soft Building Blocks use Montessori techniques to help your little baby to develop motor skills, sensory senses, practice finger grasping and hand eye coordination. Later on for toddlers and kids object balancing and building skills, shape matching, color cognition, learn numerals, counting, mathematical calculations (addition/subtraction) and animal, fruits, geometrical shapes names.
When it comes to safety we choose non toxic materials, with the right size, softness, weight and colors to make sure it won’t cause any health issues, choking hazard, eye strain, injury or damage.
What’s in the box:
A set of 12 cubes uniquely colored and designed. Each face of the block contains embossed numerals, geometrical shapes, one animal, one fruit, and the shapes that connect with each other.
The cube is 5.3cm X 5.3cm X 5.3cm
How to play with them:
There are many ways to play with them. They can be stacked together for your kid to learn object balancing and building skills. Shape matching game where each block can connect with another based on the shape at the top and bottom of the block. Once connected to the correct shape the numerals from 0 to 9 will be lined up in corresponding order to help your child learn how to count and read numbers. Besides that you can use them to teach color, animals, fruits, geometrical shapes names. At the bottom there is a hole so when you squash it it makes a squeaking sound that is not very loud but enough to make your little one smile.
They can also be used in the pool or bathtub but after you use them in the tub please drain the water through the bottom hole and let them dry in the sun for a few hours to avoid mould forming inside.
Because of the safety measures we took, the blocks also make for an ideal teether toy as the texture and softness of the block is perfect to reduce the pain and itch your kid goes through while growing teeth without actually damaging the teeth.
How to clean:
The blocks are cleaned from the factory and can be used as they are but for any toy it’s recommended to clean it a bit before using it for the first time. You can use a damp cloth and wipe them with some water or hand alcohol.
You can also submerge them in the water to wash them with soap but make sure to drain the water inside through the hole at the bottom and let them dry in the sun for a while.
